FIRST VISIT

We are dedicated to providing you with the very best dental care possible. We welcome new patients, and would like to thank you for referring family and friends to our practice. We believe that good oral hygiene begins with honest communication. We promise to speak candidly with you about symptoms, treatments and our recommendations. We also promise to ensure that you have all the information you need in making informed dental treatment decisions. Working together, we can achieve a true partnership, with one common goal keeping your smile beautiful and healthy!

Our work actually starts before your first visit. Normally, when you call or email our office we will ask you a few questions about your past dental experience, your current dental insurance plan, your medical history and a preferred date and time that best fits your schedule. Our front office staff will contact your insurance company to gather information as to your benefits. While this is being done please complete our New Patient form by clicking on this link.

When you arrive for your first visit we will verify your information and enter this into our computer system. Our highly advanced, password protected computer system will help us keep all of your information at our fingertips, including: recent visits and any upcoming visit dates and times, any treatment that the doctor has prescribed and estimated costs, account balance, status of dental claims, etc.

Next, our dental assistant will greet you in the lobby and escort you to a treatment room. The assistant will discuss the procedures performed by the doctor, take necessary x-rays (if needed) and introduce you to the doctor. Once you meet Dr. Bult, she will ask if there are any outstanding concerns. This allows a free-range discussion to let our office staff provide the absolute best dental care that YOU want.

Finally, our front office staff will discuss your dental insurance (if any) and how we communicate with them as well as the various payment options that we offer.  Dental insurance can be confusing and understanding your benefits is not easy.  Your employer selected the plan and they are ultimately responsible for what procedures are paid and for how much.  For further information follow this link to the American Dental Associations FAQ’s regarding dental insurance.

Along with dental insurance we offer the following types of financial arrangement for treatment:

  1. Cash
  2. Check
  3. Credit Card (Visa / Mastercard / Debit Cards / Discover / American Express)
  4. Care Credit Financing
  5. Capital One Healthcare Financing

Healthcare third-party financing can be an excellent way to pay for extensive dental treatment over months or even years.  Plans we offer range from $100 up to over $25,000 and can be repaid over 3 months and up to 5 years.  Patients can choose from various no-interest payment plans as well as low-interest plans.  These plans can be custom tailored to your needs.  For an estimate on monthly payments for a specific amount click on this calculator.
